We use the "Yahoo Groups" service to manage our email communication and to coordinate sailing dates/locations and meetings. Members also use the group email feature to pass along items of interest such as boat assembly tips and tricks. Yahoo provides this service free of charge, and it's packed with lots of features, like the soon to be added automatic archiving of message attachments (expected in December, 2008) and a search engine so you can quickly find what you're looking for by either message title or content.
